“Nurtured and Nourished” - Six bags full of Opportunity!

The motto of Good Soil Academy is “[n]urtured and nourished for every good work in Christ.”  The process of nurturing extends to the mind, body and soul of every student at Good Soil Academy.  Sports play a unique role in nurturing students.  In the west we take access to sports for granted.  But for young women in Malawi, access to sports is not a given.  At Good Soil Academy we will offer football (soccer), netball, and volleyball.  This will be a unique opportunity that does not exist for most young Malawian women.  It is only recently that young women have started to play soccer in Malawi and we want to be part of the vanguard in crossing this gender divide.

That’s where you come in.  We’re traveling back to Malawi in August, and we need your gently used girls soccer cleats, and deflated, but inflatable soccer balls.  We’ve got six bags each of which can be filled with 50 lbs of soccer cleats and balls.  Similarly, practice gear is appreciate.
