Our Family Picture
In Malawi there is a tremendous sense of family responsibility. Death, illness and economic hardship visit Malawian families frequently. When your brother or sister’s family suffers, you take on responsibility for the care of their children. You do not distinguish between your own children and the children of your brother or sister. They are all simply your sons and daughters.
The picture above is Good Soil Academy’s family photograph. Our heart’s desire is to see these children thrive like our own children, and for every one of them to be nurtured and nourished, physically, mentally and spiritually. As a Good Soil partner, you are part of this family portrait too. Your generosity to Good Soil Academy cares for these precious daughters, offering them hope and a future.

Pray that they will gain a sense of God’s purpose for their life;
Pray that they will develop good habits in their life so that they will have the discipline to set and achieve their goals;
Pray that they will be protected from the distractions of this world, such as pressures to marry young, or to return to their villages to work in the fields;
Pray that God will keep our students from all harm. Malawi comes with a broad range of risk, including health and safety; and
Pray that they will grow in godliness and faith.
