Who Are The Winners?

Today I had the privilege of watching some beautiful videos showcasing the "Top Ten" students and "Top Student" from Term One.  I want to ask and answer a question, "Who are the Winners?"

You might say to me, "Dean, you know who the winners are - you saw them receive their prizes and trophies."  And you would be half right - yes, they are winners.  But I saw other winners in that room - and those winners were our GSA Team members; our teachers, our administrators, our cooks, our Nurse/Matron, our groundskeepers, our cleaners, and our security staff.  To each of those members who labored to see the success of our students, both directly and indirectly, I hereby nominate them as "Winners" too.

Paul writes to the Church in Galatia,  "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."  Galatians 6:9.  And so this is simply a note to thank our GSA Team - each of those who have spoken into the life and learning of their students - and to recognize that they are the other "Winners!"
