Same Values, same Vision, new Mission

I write to you from Malawi.  This September 2025 we launch Good Soil Academy.  This is a bold new step and a bold new Mission to provide young Malawians with access to education.  So much has gone into the planning and launch of this venture. 

As we engage in all of this activity, we remind ourselves that our values have not changed. We desire that the young women at Good Soil Academy love God by honoring God, living generous lives, adding value to others and always doing the right thing. 

Our vision has not changed.  We still seek to provide young women with access to education, Christian discipleship, biblical entrepreneurship and leadership training.

It is our mission that has changed.  Instead of outsourcing education to others through scholarships, we are launching Good Soil Academy.  Our Christian educators will focus on integrating Christ into the curriculum.  Our educators will press these young students to move beyond integration into faith with works.  Instead of “weekly” check-ins on the spiritual health of our scholars, there will be daily discipleship moments.  Now our students will have four years of biblical entrepreneurship and leadership training.

This is exciting!  The Values of Good Soil Academy are the values of Good Soil Partners.  The approach to education is different, but the likelihood of lasting outcomes is greatly enhanced by shepherding our students.  This is discipleship.  This is God’s exciting next step for Good Soil Partners.
