What Is A Chair?
What is a chair? If you consult Webster’s Dictionary you’ll find that a “chair” is “a seat typically having four legs and a back for one person.”
At Good Soil Academy a chair is so much more than a seat. It is where young women will sit when they learn about the relationship God wants to have with them as his created child. It is where a student will learn a cornucopia of knowledge. A chair is where they will be exposed to ideas such as biblical entrepreneurship, authentic leadership. A chair is where they will sit as they make life-long friends, study God’s Word and worship Him.
So we need chairs. To be precise we need 90 chairs for our Academic building and 90 chairs for our dormitory. But chairs are just one item we need for Good Soil Academy. We’re in the process of acquiring desks, dorm tables, beds, and wardrobes. Perhaps God has given you a spirit of practical generosity. You’re the kind of person who truly understands how God can use a chair, a desk, and a table for His kingdom purposes. In the next two months we’ll be spending $120,000 for these furnishings. We’d love to be able to use those funds for more student scholarships, but this expenditure is a “must” for Good Soil Academy.
If God puts this matter on your heart consider giving to this worthy cause. God can use a chair as the starting place for life transformation.
