A Generous Life
Every Sunday morning for the past two terms our students at Good Soil Academy have been bringing their offerings to the Sunday worship service. This last Friday (Labor Day in Malawi), they brought the fruit of their offerings to the Mitundu Regional Hospital. Patients were given soap and the students donated much needed cleaning supplies to the hospital.
All of us are called to live generous lives. That’s why one of our Core Values at Good Soil Academy is to “live a generous life.” We want every one of our students to make this value their own. If we learn how to live a generous life while we have little, then we are far more likely to practice that value when we have plenty.
Seeing our students living generous lives brings us great joy! And what’s particularly exciting is that living out a generous life brings joy to the giver as well.
